Ivy House offers a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of Foulsham, an attractive and well-situated village in Norfolk.
Overlooking the fine Georgian square where markets were once held, the house is a substantial and charming property built after the ‘Great fire of Foulsham’ of 1770.
Ivy House is positioned in half an acre of secluded grounds where guests are very welcome to relax and unwind.
Situated 12 miles from the coast it is an ideal location from which to explore the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.
Within six miles are the market towns of Reepham, Dereham, Fakenham and Aylsham and the fine city of Norwich is just 18 miles away.
The North Norfolk coast has much to offer. From the golden sandy beaches of Brancaster and Holkham, to the popular fishing port of Wells-next-the-sea, the wide open marshes of Warham and Stiffkey, good sailing from Blakeney and Morston and the traditional seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer.
We are directly on the Harwich to Hull section of the Sustrans National Cycle Network and regularly welcome cyclists.
We have ample off-street parking for vehicles and bicycles.
Children are welcome. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
